Laura - Nursery Manager

I joined the Nursery in 1996 from school and hold my SVQ Levels 2 and 3 and a PDA in childcare and Education. I have progressed through the company and have been manager at the Nursery and also the pre-school. As I have managed all the units I aim to make the transitions that take place within Nursery personalised and child lead. With an experienced and supportive senior team with me at the creche I look forward to welcoming families and children to the Nursery and helping carers to feel secure and trusting when you leave your children with the creche.

Lynn - Senior Nursery Nurse

I am the mother of three young children. I have worked at the Edinburgh Nursery since 1999 and have worked in most units of the nursery. I really enjoy caring for the babies at the Crèche, and it doesn’t even seem like a busman’s holiday. I am SVQ Level 3 Qualified and continue to attend professional development training.

Lesley - Senior Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in 2000 and have worked previously at the Nursery, Beaverhall Road. I returned to work in the creche January 2011 after the birth of my son and now work a jobshare week with Lynne. I have a renewed understanding of being a working mother and leaving my child to come to work and hope that this allows me to be both sympathetic to carers concerns and proactive in the information that I can pass back to you at the end of a productive day at creche.

Nicola - Nursery Nurse

I joined the company Feb 2010 and finish my SVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Early Years Education November 2010. I move to the creche having done my placement at pre-school with excitement to be working with the younger children and extending my knowledge and experience of working with all children. I shall be putting into practise my knowledge of Birth to Three and hope to share some of my experiences from pre-school.

Emma - Nursery Nurse

I joined the company after completing a college placement at the end of 2009. I passed my SVQ Level 2 in Childcare in June 2011 and will proceed onwards with my level 3 qualification. I enjoy seeing the childrens development and progress and speaking with carers at the end of the day and providing feedback on the adventures the children have had.

Tina - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the nursery in May 2011 and am undertaking my first work based placement with the younger children at the creche. I will start my formal studies at college in January 2012
