Birth to 3 Matters

The birth to three framework that the Nursery follows recognises the contribution made to the development of very young children by the adults who care for them. Birth to three focuses on: child development, effective practise to promote play/learning, guidance on planning/resourcing and meeting diverse needs. www.surestart.gov.uk

In the baby units we focus on birth to three, this enriches the learning experiences that we provide for the children.
By learning as much as we can about each individual child, for example, what the children are currently enjoying or what their current development stage is, we can offer each child a flexible learning environment where they can learn from activities that are carefully planned to incorporate all of this.
