Laura - Nursery Manager

Having been with the Nursery for 13 years I am the proud recipient of the Professional Development Award in Childcare and I also hold my Level 3 SVQ qualification. I attend professional development courses to ensure that we are delivering the very best pre-school education to our 3 - 5 year olds.

Jane - Senior Nursery Nurse Part Time

I have worked with the company for 10 years and previously managed our Nursery at the Gyle. I am qualified in childcare achieving my Professional Development Award in Childcare and Education in 2006. This involved study in units on Effective Leadership, Quality, Promotion of Language and Literacy, a Professional Study in Childcare and Early Education and a European perspective of Childcare. I have returned September 09 to work part time after a period of maternity leave with my son.

Monique - Nursery Nurse

I joined the Edinburgh Nursery in May 2005 and have completed my SVQ Levels 2 and 3 qualifications whilst working at the Nursery. I enjoy working with the older children some of whom I cared for in the creches. I am receiving and updating my training currently on A Curriculum for Excellence and attend specialised training courses throughout the year to keep up to speed with developments within Childcare.

Courtney - Nursery Nurse

I joined the company in December 2009. I am a fully qualified Nursery Nurse and achieved my qualification in Australia. I have taught nursery classes around the world and am enjoying exploring Scottish Heritage and culture with the children whilst sharing some of my experiences from Australia with them

Nicola - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in January 2010 after completing a college placement preparing me for working with children under the age of 5. I commenced my formal qualifications in childcare and early years education March 2010.
