Shona - Nursery Manager

I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and have been working with pre-school children for a number of years. I joined The Edinburgh Nursery in the summer of 2010. I bring to the Nursery my professional experiences to continue to deliver a first class personalised pre-school education to the children as well as providing a safe calm and secure environment for them to grow their personality, independence and characters.

Jane - Senior Nursery Nurse Part Time

I have worked with the company for 10 years and previously managed our Nursery at the Gyle. I am qualified in childcare achieving my Professional Development Award in Childcare and Education in 2006. This involved study in units on Effective Leadership, Quality, Promotion of Language and Literacy, a Professional Study in Childcare and Early Education and a European perspective of Childcare.

Claudia - Senior Nursery Nurse

I am a qualified German Language Teacher and working at the pre-school I aim to help the children explore more about the world around them and other cultures within the Curriculum for Excellence Framework. I worked with the Nursery on a relief staff basis until joining the team formally in the summer of 2010

Yvonne - Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in Summer 2011 upon returning from travelling overseas for 2 years and working with children in Nurseries in Australia and Czech republic. I hold a Higher National Certificate in Child Care and Education from Jewel and Esk Valley College and additionally a honours degree from Napier University in Psychology and Sociology.

Kerry - Student Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in May 2011 from 6th year at school. I have completed Highers and an advanced Higher and I will start to study childcare and early years at college formally in January 2012. I love working with the pre-school children and helping out in the other Nursery buildings when other staff are on holiday
