Steph - Nursery Manager

I have worked with the Edinburgh Nursery for 7 and a half years and hold my SVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have completed First Aid, Health and Hygiene Cooking for the under 5\\\'s and Festivals and Celebrations training courses to ensure that I keep up to date in developments within the early years childcare sector.

Dorota - Senior Nursery Nurse

I worked at the creche since 2008 and joined the team at Beaverhall Road in January 2010. I enjoy getting to know the children and seeing their development and growth. I am the mother of a young child myself and support the delivery within the Nursery of both the birth to three document and a curriculum for excellence to ensure that the children are receiving not just care in a secure and loving environment but also in developing their skills, personalities and characters. My qualifications are equivalent to an SVQ Level 4 in childcare and early years education and I also hold a Batchelor Honours degree in Pedagogy

Helen - Senior Nursery Nurse

i joined the Nursery in 2008 when I moved here from Ireland. I have many years childcare experience and have also worked with sick children in hospital. I am enjoying following the birth to three curriculum and exploring ways to deliver the curriculum to the children in a challenging and interesting way.

Karen - Senior Nursery Nurse Part Time

I have worked with the company since 1995 and currently work part time as I am the mother of two young children. I have previously managed our pre-school unit and am enjoying working with the slightly younger children to ensure that they receive support from both the birth to three curriculum and an introduction to A Curriculum for Excellence

Lisa - Nursery Nurse

I have worked with the Nursery for 2 and a half years and hold my SVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare and early years and am also registered with the Scottish Social Services Council as a childcare practioner. I enjoy working with the children as they become more independent and start to learn more about the world around them and enjoy working with the team at Beaverhall Road. I have done placements with all ages of pre school children.

Dana - Nursery Nurse

Since leaving school I have worked with children and babies and am delighted to be given a chance to work with the children and commence my formal studies. I completed my SVQ Level 2 in January 2010 and commenced my studies at Level 3 March 2010

Janelle - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in 2008 and previously worked with the babies at our creche in Broughton Street. I am looking forward to commencing my formal qualifications in childcare and early years education and using the skills and knowledge that I gain to enhance the learning environment for the children. Some of the children I have already cared for at the creche so it is lovely to catch up with them and their families again.

Lauren - Trainee Nursery Nurse

Having made a decision to take a career change I am loving working with the Nursery and the 2-3 year olds. I have personal experience of working with younger children and have just commenced my formal childcare qualifications at college.

Natasha - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery from school and will work under the supervision of Nursery Nurses until I commence my formal qualifications in the summer of 2010.

Olivia - Nursery Assistant Part Time

I joined the company summer 2009 and work shifts to cover staff holidays training and illness. I am currently at university and love coming to Nursery two days a week to work with the children and seeing them develop their independence skills
