I have worked with the Edinburgh Nursery for 8 years and hold my SVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have completed First Aid, Health and Hygiene Cooking for the under 5\\\'s and Festivals and Celebrations training courses to ensure that I keep up to date in developments within the early years childcare sector. I am about to commence my SVQ level 4 Management qualification

Karen - Senior Nursery Nurse Part Time

I have worked with the company since 1995 and currently work part time as I am the mother of two young children. I have previously managed our pre-school unit and am enjoying working with the slightly younger children to ensure that they receive support from both the birth to three curriculum and an introduction to A Curriculum for Excellence

Erica - Senior Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery April 2011 upon relocating to Edinburgh. I hold a BA Degree in Childhood Studies and Professional Practise Studies from Northumbria University and am looking forward to using my knowledge within the Nursery and working within the Curriculum for Excellence.

Monique - Senior Nursery Nurse

I joined the company May 2005 and have completed both my Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Early Years and Childcare. I was appointed senior nursery nurse in the summer of 2010 and prior to that worked in the pre-school. I enjoy delivering both the Birth to three curriculum and Curriculum for Excellence and helping the children to become independence successful learners.

Rachel - Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery straight from school summer 2009 and completed my SVQ Level 2 qualification summer 2010. I have commenced my professional studies in Early Years and Education SVQ level 3 July 2010. I have previously worked within the Broughton Street creche and its been great to meet up with the children and families again as they grow older and move to the Nursery and start to explore more of the world around them

Natasha - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery from school and work under the supervision of Nursery Nurses as well as completing my SVQ Level 2 qualification in childcare and early years.

Meghan - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery in the summer of 2010 after a career change from university. I love working with the children and have spent time at thepre-school and creches. I hope to commence my formal training in 2011 and have received inhouse training from line managers which is ongoing.

Deri - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery from school in October this year. I am going to do my training after Christmas and have been getting to know the children and their families and I am looking forward to spending time with the older and younger children as well as part of my training programme

Satveer - Trainee Nursery Nurse

I joined the Nursery from school in May 2011. I have worked during the summer in all the units to get to know the children and staff and am now undertaking a work based training at the Nursery for 2-3year olds. I will commence my formal studies in January 2012
